Data Deletion Instructions
Effective: September 20, 2026 · Last updated: September 26, 2026
You can remove a connected social account, or delete your whole Socira AI account and its data, at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.
1. Remove one connected social account
- Sign in to Socira AI and open My accounts.
- Open the account and click Disconnect.
- We delete its access tokens immediately, and its synced profile data, insights and comments within 30 days.
You can also revoke access from the network itself (for Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, remove Socira AI). Our access stops at once; send us the request below if you also want the stored data deleted straight away.
2. Delete your Socira AI account and all data
Email thetechhackerlabs@gmail.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Data deletion request". Tell us whether you want your whole workspace deleted or only your own user account. We will:
- confirm the request within 72 hours (we may ask you to verify you own the account);
- delete your content, connected accounts, tokens and personal data within 30 days;
- keep only what the law requires, such as invoices (tax law) and security audit records, and delete those when the retention period ends (see Data retention);
- email you a confirmation with a reference number once deletion is complete.
3. Data from Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp
If you signed in with Meta and want the data we received from Meta deleted, follow either step above. Deletion covers the tokens, Page and account details, posts, comments and insights we stored from Meta's APIs.
4. Backups
Deleted data can remain in encrypted backups for up to 35 days until those backups expire. It is not restored or used in the meantime.
